 Israel Trembles Under Iran’s Retaliation — Khamenei Warns of ‘Destruction’

Tensions in the Middle East have reached a boiling point. In response to Israel’s recent offensive, Iran has launched more than 100 drones and ballistic missiles in a massive retaliatory strike. This development has triggered heightened security measures across the region and raised global concern.


Iran’s Counterattack Shakes Israel


According to military sources, most of the Iranian drones and missiles were intercepted by Israel’s advanced air defense systems — Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow 3. However, some managed to slip through and struck border areas and military installations, causing localized damage.


The Israeli military stated, “While many incoming threats were neutralized, a few bypassed radar coverage and hit predetermined targets.” Temporary blackouts and panic were reported in parts of Haifa and Tel Aviv.


Khamenei’s Warning: “Israel Will Be Destroyed”


Following the strike, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei delivered a televised speech with a stern warning:


> “Israel must pay the price. This is not revenge — this is justice. Israel will be destroyed.”




He further added, “Those who support Israel will not be spared. Their bases, airports, and even naval vessels will become legitimate targets.”


Background of the Attack


A day before Iran’s counterstrike, Israel launched a major military operation called “Operation Rising Lion.” The assault targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordow and Natanz using missiles and drones. Additional targets included several IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) depots and secret drone bases.


International media reports revealed that Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad had been operating covert drone facilities inside Iran for years. This revelation triggered Iran’s forceful response.


International Reactions


The United Nations has called for an emergency session, while leaders from the United States, United Kingdom, and European Union have urged both sides to de-escalate. However, both Iran and Israel remain firm in their positions.


Analysts warn that this conflict may not remain limited to Iran and Israel. The ripple effects could engulf Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, where Iranian-aligned groups like Hezbollah and Houthi rebels are already expressing open support for Iran.


What Lies Ahead?


Experts suggest that if immediate diplomatic intervention is not achieved, this escalation could spiral into a full-scale war in the Middle East.


The global energy market is already responding to the crisis — crude oil prices have surged, and gold prices are rising sharply amid fears of prolonged instability.
